Upcoming news suggests that WAEC will organise its test online in the coming years.
In a post-sighted on AcademicWeek, WAEC is considering to conduct the next BECE and WASSCE School exams online for candidates to minimize cases of examination leakages and malpractice recorded each year.
After Africa Education Watch recommended that the federal government automate the distribution of exam question papers from the WAEC depot to exam centers, the Council decided to require applicants to take a virtual exam.
“As we look forward to the years ahead, we are positioning ourselves to deploy technology even more in our processes to ensure that our assessment results remain credible,” the WAEC staff told stakeholders at the Forum held in Accra.

All BECE and WASSCE school certificate examinations with be organise digitally. It is easy to shuffle exam questions on a web-platform.
Many students will have to depend on the new WAEC platforms. Exams results will be released early.
If you are yet to write in 2023, do not fear. If WAEC plans to organise exams online, it might take a while to integrate all platforms and fully educate students on how to use the platforms.
