Nigerian songstress Tiwa Savage received an Honorary Doctorate Degree from the University of Kent UK.
Tiwa Savage received a Doctor of Music degree in recognition of her inspiring and distinguished musical career.
At the university’s congregation ceremonies held in the cathedrals of Canterbury and Rochester, she received an honorary degree together with the other 10 other inspiring people.
The other honorary graduands include Susan Wanless, Dr Howard Leicester, Kevin Hylton, Mark Lane, Mark Thomas, Dame Stephanie Shirley, Kush Kanodia, Emeritus Professor Abdulrazak Gurnah.
