KiDi’s “Sugar Daddy” is not just a mere name as he reveals a tainting habit that got him suspended in Senior High School.
The Award-winning artiste, Dennis Nana Kwaku Boadi Dwamena, popularly known as KiDi recounted how he got himself suspended in SHS.
The “Touch It” singer said to PulseGhana that he and a few friends sneaked out of boarding school to attend a fun fair at a girls’ school.
“I was in a boys’ school. Accra Academy. We used to go to fun fairs in the girls’ schools and all. I went for one that I eventually got suspended. I was sad because so many of us went. We were about 30 to 40 but whoever went to snitch, snitched on eight people,” he said.
Eight names were soon after recorded. KiDI alleges that when his classmate inserted his name in jest, it was game over for him.
One funny thing about the story of his past SHS life is that, he took his angry mother to sign the suspension letter but as soon as they got to the headmaster’s office, the headmaster asked why he brought his sister.
